Instagram Reels have become the go-to place for quick entertainment, tutorials, and lifestyle content. Often, you'll come across a Reel that you want to save to watch later when you don't have internet access, or share with a friend who isn't on the app.
While Instagram lets you "Save" a Reel to a collection within the app, it doesn't allow you to download the video directly to your device's camera roll. That's where a dedicated downloader comes in.
When you save a Reel within Instagram, you are simply bookmarking it. If the creator deletes the video, or if their account goes private, that video disappears from your saved list. To truly keep a video, you need to download the MP4 file to your local storage.
Step 1: Get the Link
Open Instagram and find the Reel. Tap the paper airplane (share) icon or the three dots (...) and select "Copy Link".
Step 2: Use the Downloader
Navigate to the SVDownloader Instagram Downloader page. Paste the link into the input field.
Step 3: Save to Device
Click Download. Our system will fetch the video in its original uploaded quality (up to 1080p Full HD). Click the download button next to your preferred quality to save it.
Currently, SVDownloader only supports downloading Reels from public Instagram accounts. This is to respect user privacy and adhere to platform guidelines. If an account is private, our servers cannot access the video file.
